The rapid and systemic changes unfolding in the global financial system call for renewed attention on the basics of finance. In response, The Lally School announces the launch of an ambitious new masters-level program that addresses financial engineering and risk analytics. A collaboration between Lally's Finance faculty and Rensselaer's departments of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Decision Sciences and Engineering Sciences, and Economics, the program capitalizes on Rensselaer's signature strengths.
Enrolled students will have the option to focus on any one of several depth areas from model building to financial analysis. Students may earn a Master of Science in one year, or opt for a finance concentration in the Lally School's rigorous full-time MBA Program. The low student-faculty ratio, coupled with Lally School's strong ties to the finance industry and central banks, support Rensselaer's tradition of educating leaders of tomorrow.
