  One of the web’s largest on-line career libraries. CareerInsider/Vault offers you significant access to resume and interview guides, in-depth company research, industry overviews, articles on compensation and benefits, as well as a job search engine coupled to Simplyhired.com. If you have questions about the career process, job searches, and professional development then this tool will provide you with answers. Just click the link on the sidebar to gain access.

• Simply Hired

  One of the web’s largest job aggregators, Simply Hired is now plugged into LinkedIn and can match up your professional network to job search results – indicating who you know in relation to that job posting.

  This is another job aggregator and a good resource for job seekers.

• Global Association of Risk Professionals

  GARP’s Career Center page is an excellent assemblage of risk management and financial engineering jobs that range from entry level to senior management.  GARP also allows you to upload a resume into their system.

• WetFeet

  WetFeet is a great website with job postings, salary information, and career-related blogs.

• The National Financial Mathematics Career Fair

  The website of IAFE’s annual NYC based Career Fair.  It happens each fall and is an absolute must for FERA students.

  This website features local business and industry news from 41 different markets around the nation.

• glassdoor

  glassdoor is a great website for insights into the interview process – especially the technical interview questions that really distinguish later-round interviews.

• Poets and Quants

  This is an MBA-specific site with school rankings; blogs; a jobs board; and much, much more.

• Quintessential Careers

  Quintessential Careers offers comprehensive expert career and job-hunting advice (through articles, tools, tips, samples, and tutorials), as well as serving as a directory of links to all the best job sites.

• The Daily Muse

  The Daily Muse provides engaging job search, smart career advice, and tips for long-term professional development. 

• Working in the United States

  This website by the Office of International Services for Students and Scholars is a good resource for guidelines about Working in the United States.
