Research and Publications
Professor O’Connor has published more than thirty journal papers, twenty-five conference papers, and more than 10 books and book chapters. She has been named one of the top twenty five scholars in the field of innovation in a study recently published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management. Her most recent book, Grabbing Lightning: Building a Capability for Breatkthough Innovation (Jossey Bass, 2008) describes a research program she has led for five years that focuses on how firms can develop management systems for innovation, leading to Innovation as a business function in companies.
