Research and Publications
Prof. Peteros has over 20 years of teaching experience and currently teaches graduate-level courses in the areas of Investment Analysis, Financial Management, Taxation, and Business Law and Ethics.
He has published in a variety of finance-related areas including Behavioral Finance, Financial Crisis Investing, Hedge Funds, and Corporate Investment Strategies and Risk Management. He recently won a best paper award for “Financial Crisis Investing: Probabilities and Human Behavior,” at a global business conference and a paper he co-authored, “Integrating Statistics and Behavioral Finance,” was accepted for upcoming publication by the International Journal of Finance. He also received a Faculty Achievement Award in 2010 for his research on “Financial Crisis Investing.”
Professor Peteros has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry, where he advises endowments, foundations, trusts, and businesses. He has also worked in corporate finance for various Fortune 100 companies and as a tax consultant. He has taught and travelled throughout Europe and parts of Asia. Most recently he taught in Singapore and spent time in England and Greece. |
