Research Interests

My research interests lie in the areas of cybersecurity and corporate governance. Specifically, I am studying the relationship between data breaches and reactionary corporate governance behavior. My research aims to examine the role of peer data breaches in corporate governance to understand whether data breaches at peer firms induce non-breached firms to enhance corporate governance.

Prior Education

MS in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics, RPI (May, 2020)

Personal Information

My personal interests are centered around creativity and analytical enjoyment. I like experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new recipes and ingredients to create unique flavors. I enjoy engaging in hands-on creative activities like building Legos or playing games. In leisure time, I like to indulge in watching movies and TV shows; Marvel Cinematic Universe is my absolute favorite.

Why RPI?

RPI's reputation as a leading research university with a focus on technological innovation inspired me to choose RPI for my research. The university's commitment to interdisciplinary research, cutting-edge facilities, and renowned faculty members makes it an ideal environment for pursuing my research goals. The research opportunities available at RPI, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity, data science, and FinTech, motivated me to conduct my research at the Lally School of management. The research community is dedicated to tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges, and I was inspired to be part of this collaborative effort. Additionally, the university's strong ties with industry partners and government agencies provide unique opportunities to translate research into real-world applications and make a positive impact on society.
